Meet our founder
Dr Stephanie Kaye-Barrett, MBChB, MD, FRCP
Dr. Kaye-Barrett is our Medical Director and a world-renowned rheumatologist, who specialises in the treatment of chronic, treatment-resistant muscle and joint pain.
She serves as Medical Director at both London Rheumatology Centre and The BrainWave Clinic, where she introduced TMS—a novel treatment using electromagnetic stimulation for pain relief.
Her prestigious roles include past President of the Rheumatology Section at the Royal Society of Medicine, and Senior Lecturer at Imperial College. Renowned for her media appearances and features in Tatler’s Top Doctors Guides and the BBC, Dr. Kaye-Barrett has received numerous awards for her international and research contributions.
Specializing in pharmacological and holistic treatments for conditions like hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and arthritis, an innovative and patient-focused approach makes her a prominent figure in rheumatology.

Elliott Nation M.Ost
As a qualified osteopath and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation (PMS) Provider, Elliot works as part of Dr. Barrett’s team to provide TMS and PMS treatment for patients with chronic, treatment-resistant muscle and joint pain.
Elliot holds a TMS training Certificate from the University of Maastricht, and is one of only a handful of individuals in the UK to hold this qualification, which allows him to safely and effectively deliver TMS and PMS treatment under the clinical supervision of Dr. Kaye-Barrett at the London Clinic 116 Harley St. As a qualified osteopath, Elliot also provides patients with rehabilitative exercises to ensure that they are able to achieve the best results possible.
Elliot is passionate about offering alternative, non-invasive, non-drug treatment options for patients with chronic muscle and joint pain.

Dan helps purpose-driven companies scale and is deeply committed to helping The BrainWave protocol transform as many lives as possible.
Dan is a tech entrepreneur, investor and business leader who has founded, led and exited multiple companies in the health, consulting and deep-tech sectors. His last business (Zedsen) pioneered the category of proactive bio signal analysis (exited 2020).
He has advised on strategy and innovation at C-level for enterprises across many sectors including digital health, SAAS, FMCG, media, telecoms, and fintech sectors.
Dan has built and served on boards with top global leaders, working across the globe.
He is an active member of the Young President’s Association and sits on multiple boards within the organisation.
